LEGO Star Wars III: The Clone Wars

LEGO Star Wars: The Clone WarsWell it looks like there will be another LEGO video game title out this year! It has been confirmed that there will be another LEGO Star Wars game released later this year! It is called LEGO Star Wars III: The Clone Wars and will focus on the events of “The Clone Wars” animated series.

This title will be available on XBOX 360, Playstation 3, Wii, Nintendo DS, Playstation Portable and Windows PC. It will include all the characters in the popular TV series as well as some of the favourites from the theatrical Star Wars Saga.

You will be able to play as either a Jedi or a Separatist with new abilities including Squad Command, Lightsaber Slicing, Lightsaber Jumps, Long-distance Jedi attacks and Grapple Tie-ups.

LEGO Star Wars III: The Clone Wars will feature new battle modes giving players head-to-head combat and an upgraded level builder allowing players to create customized bases and in-game battlefields.

LEGO Star Wars III: The Clone Wars is due to be released in Autumn 2010. No specific release date has been given so far.

Power Miners Desktop Wallpapers

rock monsterAre you a Power Miners fan? If so, there are a range of desktop wallpapers  for you to customise your computer with. There are a total of 27 wallpapers to choose from. All the images have been made using Computer-Generated Imagery.

The images mainly include the Rock Monsters seen throughout the Power Miners themed sets, but also include some of the machines in sets such as Thunder Driller (as seen in set 8960), Crystal Sweeper (8961), and Mine Mech (8957).

LEGO: The Adventures of Clutch Powers

Here is the trailer for the upcoming movie, LEGO: The Adventures of Clutch Powers! So far there are little actual details about the plot of this movie apart from that it stars minifig, Clutch Powers as the main character and will be made using Computer-Generated Imagery.

From what I have gathered about the movie, Clutch Powers, along with his team of minifigs, go through many missions to probably eventually save the world or something. We will have to wait and see to find out because as I have said, there is very little detail on the plot line as of yet.

It is hinted in the trailer that LEGO: The Adventures of Clutch Powers will be a straight-to-DVD release, and is due to be released 23rd February 2010.

New LEGO Universe Trailer

Here we have another trailer for the upcoming MMOG, LEGO Universe!

As I have already mentioned, LEGO Universe is a game focused on building, creating, and playing the game using your creations. You create your own minifigure from the variety of heads, torsos and legs in the minifig creator at the very beginning of the game. However as the game progresses, you’ll be able to customise your minifig’s appearance and abilities even further by picking up cool accessories through collecting, building, earning or trading with other players.

Players also have the ability to customise the very worlds of LEGO Universe. You will be able to build in LEGO worlds of the past, present and future. Since players from all over the world will be enhancing and changing the world 24 hours a day, there will always be something new to see!
