Rescue Robot

Rescue Robot is one of the brand new additions to the Creator theme!

With this set you can build an armoured robot built for rescue purposes. He is a brilliant red colour with yellow and grey bricks for a perfect contrast.

The arms and legs are fully poseable, there are rocket boosters attached to his legs, and he wears armoured chrome head protection.

As with all Creator sets, you are able to build three models in total using the same bricks. Rebuild into a laserbot or a robocat for extended play!

Technic Motorbike

Motorbike (8051)This brilliant red Motorbike is one of the new additions to LEGO Technic.

Once built, this incrediblly detailed model includes spring-loaded front and rear suspension, a kick stand, and racing tyres. The great engine design really adds to the realistic look of the motorbike. As with most Technic sets, there are two models in one, with the second model being a Chopper Bike.

There is one small issue in that the chain tends to slip during play. Although if you want a nice shelf model this won’t be an issue. But it’s one thing to bear in mind where there will be plenty of use.

That issue aside, the actual model of the bike is fantastic and is fun to build. The alternative model also looks as good as the main model, making this set well worth getting your hands on.

Set of the Week: William Furno

William Furno (7167)With the recent release of the new Hero Factory theme, I decided that this week’s “Set of the Week” should include one of the sets from this successor to Bionicle. The set I have chosen for this week is the fantastic figure of William Furno.

William Furno is one of the Heroes in Hero Factory. His bright-red and orange colouring reflects on his name (William FURNOas in inFURNO), and as the name suggests, his special attack is to torch his enemies with flames of fury from his dual fire shooter.

This set includes brand new pieces and is incredibly sturdy, which is brilliant for a figure that is likely to be played with often. He also wears a pretty cool looking helmet and is well-armoured, and also carries the previously mentioned dual fire shooter.

William Furno (7167) is definitely not to be missed, and is sure to be another favourite for fans of Bionicle.
