This is a must if you love the castle seige set.

This blends in perfect and fits very snuggly agianst the castle gate! It is taller than the castle because the castle sets flat, but that isn’t anything you can’t rig up to be the same height!!

You get several minifigs with this set and a skeleton horse!! very cool!!

This set is really fun and if you want to add to seige castle look no further this really does the trick. I would highly recommend this awesome set!

I’m not really a castle guy but when I saw the Minifigs in this set I couldn’t resist. So colorful and lively. Now that I have it, I don’t know what to do with it. I mean, what good is a gate without a castle, right?

My only gripe is in the old days, I mean in Classic Lego Castle days, the designers used to facilitate every single empty space in a set by either secret doors, or trap doors or something. The base of this set is only used to make the structure taller, there is nothing hidden anywhere. No matter though, I got enough pieces to upgrade this set.

Nonetheless, with great figure selection and many many nice pieces, this set is a winner. I enjoyed every mimute of building this set.

I got this set for the golden knight. The drawbridge theme is old idea, but this is still a very cool set to own.

This was purchased for my 7-1/2 yr old grandson, along with another Lego castle set. His 5-1/2 yr old brother received the pirate ship. They love all of these sets and played with them for hours while visiting my home. The boys play with their lego sets every day and never seem to tire of them. They also have some Star Wars sets. Their imaginations (and little fingers) never seem to tire of building and playing with their Legos. Definitely worth the price. So many toys break as soon as they are out of the box, or the kids tire of them quickly. Not the Lego’s! Great investment.

The gift was great the service/shipping was a disaster. It took over 2+ weeks from order date for delivery even though it was in stock!!!!!It was not due to weather conditions, but to the label for shipping prepared incorrectly and was held up in several shipping stops along the way. When contacted the provider they refunded the shipping costs.

My 10 yr old grandson loves this toy. He enjoyed putting it together at Christmas. Of all his presents, this is one of his favorites. He plays with the little figures and enjoys the moveable parts. Mixes Lego building and action figure/role play well. Would recommend.

Although we homeschool and use a variety of lego sets for Hands On Learning, I’m sure any child even in the public/private sector would benefit from the use of the themed lego sets. They are wonderful teaching tools.

As for general play at home, it’s surely to be a big hit with all appropiate ages. We have visitors all the time, and they love it when we pull out the lego.

First off, if nothing else, this set is worth it for the minifigs alone. You get an awesome golden knight and a queen, both unique to this set, as well as a standard crown knight and the rare jester minifig. On the evil side of things, you get an awesome grim reaper-esque skeleton with skeleton horse, a black skeleton, and another white skeleton. Seven minifigs is a lot for a set in this price range!

Accessories are cool too! Lots of weapons, including a flail, scythe, golden sword, crossbows, and even axes and glaives used in the tower’s decor can come down if needed for a fight scene. The golden knight’s armor and helmet are awesome, the shields are neat, and the queen’s crown is adorable.

Secondly, the tower itself is impressive. The drawbridge mechanism works well, and the flick-fire ballista is neat too. My only complaint is that there isn’t a whole lot of display (or play) room in the tower itself. To remedy this, I bought a seven dollar green baseboard with this set. The entire set fit on it perfectly. I would highly recommend purchasing the baseboard, which is a little extra cost but results in a much more satisfying play or display experience.

I bought this set on a whim, thinking of the Lego castle set I always wanted as a kid. I had fun building it; it’s nothing too complex, but interesting anyway. The drawbridge mechanism is a stroke of genius. Also, when I took it home from college, my much younger siblings had a blast playing with it!

In conclusion, you can’t beat the minifigs in this set for play or display purposes, and the tower is nice as well. I would recommend this set to any Lego Castle fan! It’s a lot of fun, and adding a baseboard makes it even more so!

My son is absolutely in love with Legos. This kit is excellently priced considering all that it comes with. All the minifgis + a reasonably big structure. We really enjoyed putting it all together, and both he and my 2year old son have a blast acting out little dramas with the castle.

This toy is a nice set though I think they could have added more mini figures for the set. Fun to build. I love LEGO! Recommended for lego lovers and collectors.

This is the LEGO set my sons play with the most. It is easy to build, because most of the structural pieces are molded chunks. The mechanical drawbridge is easy to build and very sturdy. There is a contraption to fire missiles, too. The minifigs include:

    a queen

    a jester

    a knight

    skeleton bad guys

    a skeleton horse

This set is a great value.
