“Hey, everybody! Let’s Disco!”
The Disco Dude has traveled back in time to relive the days of disco dancing, bell-bottom pants and the very first LEGO Space sets. He can’t help but love it! Whenever he hears a disco beat and sees the big disco ball lights start flashing, he gets caught up in the music and just can’t stop dancing.

And what’s more, it’s his love of disco is contagious! Wherever the Disco Dude starts dancing, everybody around him can’t help but join in on the fun. Pretty soon, it’s all one big ‘70s disco dance party!

After the success – and yes, controversy – of the initial wave of Lego mystery minifigures, we now have a second series of 16 interesting new characters to track down.

I think these figures are a cool idea. You don’t know what you’re getting, but you know it’s going to be an interesting new minifigure. They’re also pretty addictive. Once you have a few you feel compelled to complete a set. I picked up a handful at a local discount store and ended up with the DJ. Now when I hear DJ I’m thinking laptop and turntables, but this figure is straight-up Saturday Night Fever. We’ve renamed him Disco Stu after the character in the Simpsons. He’s got a major fro, and comes with a disco LP (brilliantly titled “Brick Fever”), plus of course the basic figure stand. I’d have preferred the LEGO Collectible Minifigure Series 2 Spartan or the LEGO Collectible Minifigure Pharaoh, but this is still a fun addition to the set. I feel compelled to stick some 1×1 square pieces under his feet to give him platform shoes though.
