I was very excited to start building this set. It took me around 4 – 5 hours to build it. It looks very cool when it is all done.
The net launcer does not launch the net as far as it is supposed to.
The rock monster does not throw the rocks as far as I saw on a different review.
The crane tilt does not work good.
The drill sometimes stalls.
Only get it if you really, really want it as it is pretty expensive.
If it were $50 it would be a better value, I think.

My son loves this toy. The instructions are in TWO books and it took several days to put it together. My husband had to help my son finish it. My son made some mistakes putting it together and my husband had to correct those. The instructions are some times difficult to follow. Some of the pieces fell on the floor as it was being assembled and some of them got stepped on and bent, but they didn’t break. You will need lots of patience with tiny lego pieces to get this put together. It’s expensive, too. My son saved up the $100 to buy this over several months. I think it’s very over priced, but I have to admit, my son loves it and plays with it a lot.

My 5-year old son put this set together in about 3 hours with some help from me. He has enjoyed playing with it ever since. It has a canon that shoots a net and two pulleys. Great fun!

Delivery was quick and the product arrived in imaculate condition. It was brought for my 7 year old as a pressent and soon after beginning the constuction he lost intrest in building it, there are two books full of instuctions and in total took us 6 hours in total to build, it has not proved durable and even though all peices were put together tightly parts still continue to come off regually including the viewing tower, this toy would be more appropriate for an older child who would take more plesure in building it and would not be as intrested in playing with the final product.

I ordered this for my son a couple of weeks before Xmas as everywhere else was sold out. As usual Amazon delivered this speedily and first thing in the morning so we were in at the time. It was great to see the pleasure on our son’s face when he opened this present on Xmas day and he couldn’t wait to start building it. He’s 9 and has been engrossed in building this set for the last 2 days now without any problems. There are two instruction booklets to follow, one for the main drilling vehicle and one for the drill tower and all the different extra add-ons including a crane, net shooter and dynamite launcher. They include clear step by step diagrams. Overall its an amazing set and challenging to build.

We bought this toy for our 6-year-old who absolutely loves Legos. This set was the centerpiece of his Christmas gifts and what an absolutely amazing well-thought out set it was. He loved it and we love it, too. Don’t expect your Lego engineers to leave it in the configuration that you get instructions for. They will immediately begin upgrades. He has easily gotten our money’s worth out of this toy, building new and interesting vehicles to fend off the rock monsters. I would give it 6 stars for sparking his imagination.

Bought this for my six year old for Christmas as he loves Power Miners despite the recommended age being 8+. He loves it. His Dad built it with him and it took 3 hours!!!It was ultimately worth it though as he plays with it constantly.
A brilliant toy and being Lego if it gets trashed it can be built again! All the Power Miners are good educational toys as they encourage patience (!!) and they introduce young children to basic mechnical principles.

My son (aged 9 1/2) loves LEGO and every Christmas it is close to the top of his list. This Command Rig is certainly more durable than previous sets have been including Star Wars and LEGO City however, LEGO have still got some work to do. It was great fun to build and it was managed with little or no adult help … much to my husbands frustration! Once built there are plenty of moving parts to play with but as always, it is too fragile to last in the intended shape much past Boxing Day. As with all LEGO it is expensive but it is one of the better sets that he has had so far.

Purchased for my sons 8th birthday. Cheaper than my local stores ( which were out of stock anyway). He is building it as we speak, minimal input from us grownups. As with all things Lego, popular wit my boys. Should keep him busy for some time.

I think this was the best Lego set ever designed. It has so many functions. Not recommended for under 8 years old. Will need assistance if 8 to 10 years old in building the set.

I just got my Titanium Command Rig in the mail. It’s the coolest LEGO toy in the world, I think!
Some of my favorite things on it are how far Tremorox launches the rocks, and how high the tower is, and the features. The features are pretty cool. There are lots of features. Here some I like: the crane, net launcher, dynamite launcher and the drill. They all move!
I also found some challenges with the TCR. Some good, some bad. I enjoyed putting the whole thing together. I did it by myself. It was not easy, but I put the whole thing together in about three hours. By the way, connecting the tower to the rest of the TCR is pretty hard.
I bought my TCR on Amazon, because I looked at prices at other stores and not only was it less money, but I didn’t have to pay any taxes or shipping and handling! I’m glad to have saved money that way, because it’s the most expensive LEGO toy I’ve ever come across.
Even though it was pricey, I had lots of fun putting it together and playing with it. If you’re a boy like me, I would highly recommend this toy!!!!!!!

My son (13) thoroughly enjoyed building ands showing off this drilling rig. Very cool engineering and design. The only thing that Lego missed was a smoother gear assembly that spins drill head while drill is horizontal. If vehicle movement is too fast or abrupt, the drill head gearing ‘pops’. Other than that a Great Toy
